We are  a local Family-owned Kansas City landscaping business. My prayer is to provide our customers with, not only a friendship, but great service and results they can be proud of for years to come.

As God made the world and placed man in it to work and subdue it, so Legacy Landscaping’s vision is to go forth into our communities and bring order and beauty into the chaos and wonted.
We intend to be a company that thinks historically. We look back with gratitude to our past, we live and work with joy in the present, and we wisely build for the future and for our generations.

 

Legacy Landscaping started with the idea of creating a business from a trade from which I could provide for my family, and from a desire for something that would provide a shared mission for my family; a vision of good quality work that has been entrusted to man since his creation. My father-in-law has been a landscape business owner for over two decades, so most of what I know comes from working for him. Now I want my boys to grow up into strong men who are skilled in the labor of subduing and taking dominion over the earth for their families. ​I want to leave them a legacy.

Hard and joyful work is Kingdom work. It is the kind of work needed to build cathedrals, communities, and nations. We of the West are the inheritors of this kind of work from our forefathers, and we ought to be thankful and continue in their ways. This kind of world-changing work starts at home, in the hearts of households and spreads on and out from there. The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. In all we do, from digging holes to building rocket ships, may we work with all our might  and with joy in our hearts.
